Ergonomic Office Chair.
We don't care if our ergonomic office chair wins awards for how it looks by itself. We care how you feel when your body fits in it. That's why we stock 6 different seats, 5 different backs, 12 kinds of arms, too many kinds of cushioning springs, 4 major types of mechanisms, and endless other options. At the moment you can choose from 57 million different chair possibilities, and that number is growing. Whatever size you are, we will custom fit a chair to your needs.
We've craft each custom, ergonomic office chair one at a time in our factory in Navasota, Texas, for 15 years now. Most of our 80 employees have been with us the whole time. If you want a cheap chair made with foreign labor, talk to one of our "big name" competitors. Most of them claim to be based in the U.S.A. while actually slapping together their chairs somewhere else with poor quality standard. BodyBilt's production facility supports the Navasota community, the same way we'll support you.
When you call, one of our experienced, Texas employees will talk to you, to learn how you work, how you sit, and for how long. They'll make sure you utter sighs of contentment at how good it feels to sit in a custom ergonomic chair made specifically for your body. If you're not yet sure you want the perfect chair, feel free to ask us tons of questions. We'd love to tell you how heads of state, some of the richest men in the world and all those space engineers at NASA found out about us. Other companies may win awards for how their chairs look. We'll keep making custom ergonomic office chairs that reward you for sitting in them.
Why You need an ergonomic office chair
Some people are tall, some are short. There are many reasons for needing an ergonomic computer chair. But think about this. Our bodies were not designed to sit in a chair all day at a desk. It has only been in the last 60 years that we have had "offices" where people go each day to sit at a desk and perform a job. The invention of the computer and the internet has made us even more "tied to our desks", as the modern worker is expected to spend at least 6, or more hours per day at their office desk.
What we all could use is an ergonomic office chair. When you sit in a chair, more often than not your chair does not conform to you, but your body is "forced" to conform to the chair. Most chairs that you buy, and even some that call themselves "ergonomic" are not adjustable - your body must adapt to the chair, which it will try to do, which is what causes you pain.
Picture your back. Your back has an "S" in it. It curves out at the head, in at the neck, out in the back of the rib cage, and the in at the lower back and out again at your lower backside. There are curves. Now look at the chair you are sitting in, does it have curves to fit the shape of your back? If you answer "no" to this question, that is not a surprise as most office chairs do not properly fit your back. Most chairs have a flat back, and because your back is not flat, you will slouch and eventually, hour after hour after sitting in the wrong posture, experience lower and upper back pain.
The BodyBilt Difference
At BodyBilt, we have taken a completely different approach to chair design. We have made ergonomic chairs which actually fit your body the way it was made. From our many variety of chair seats to the different type of seat backs, we are one of a very select few chair companies that can truly customize your chair for you. If you visit our factory in Navasota, Texas (60 miles from Houston), one of the first things that you will notice is we do not have a storage area where we keep completed chairs. We simply do not stock chairs, and instead custom build every single chair. Over the last 15 years we have built a custom ergonomic chair operation where we take orders for different types of chairs, and we start from the bottom of the chair and build each chair exactly the way our customers order it.

How We Pick the Right Combination for you
With so many different combinations, we have over 15 years experience fitting over one two hundred and fifty thousand people in the perfect ergonomic chair. That sheer number of customer has helped us to narrow down the best way to get you the best ergonomic chair.
The first thing we do is gather information on you. We need to know foremost your height and weight. These details are important, as we have specific seats and backs for every size and shape. But numbers can be tricky. You might be tall (over 6 feet), but you could have a long torso and short legs. Or the other way around. Very few of us are made the same shape and size, so we look at not only how tall you are, but the inseam and even leg measurements from thigh to your knee is important for us to put you in the right chair.
We also want to know your work habits. Do you work at a computer all day, or do you sit at a desk or read? Do you talk on the telephone a lot, and like to sit back with your feet on the desk? These are all important clues that tell us what type of chair that we need to build you. Just like our bodies are different from one another, how you do your job is different, how you sit is different, and we try to take all those factors into account when we build a custom ergonomic chair for you.
How Much is a BodyBilt Ergonomic Office Chair?
All this may sound great to you, but then the inevitable question is "how much". The answer depends on a number of factors, as each chair that we make is fully customized for the unique physical attributes of each customer.
The true "cost" of an ergonomic office chair is how it makes you feel. Very few people live to work, rather your life "starts" when you leave work to go home. Do you want to go home each night tired and sore from sitting in an uncomfortable chair each day? That is what we make the BodyBilt ergonomic chair. To make people comfortable when they are seated at work. You likely spend more time in your office chair that you do your bed, you deserve to have the right chair.
